SECOND OVERTIME SWEATBANDS ELITE+ is made from soft to touch, anti-pilling and durable microfiber material. This high quality and resistant to wear material makes the ELITE+ sweatband last long - but even more importantly makes it very comfortable to use.
Many of the sweatbands that come with retail goalie masks feel fine when they are dry, but after getting wet become abrasive and itchy. Our ELITE+ sweatbands feel velvety smooth when wet and allow you to fully focus on the task at hand.
The difference in absorbency between thicknesses is negligible. You should make your selection based on the fit of your mask.

Care instructions
Hand wash or machine wash warm (40°C) with like colors.
Avoid using fabric softener.
If your sweatband comes out of the wash crumpled, give it a quick rinse, gently stretch and reshape whilst damp. Most times just wetting the sweatband under the tap is enough to bring it back to shape.
Lay flat or hang to dry. Do not tumble dry.
Using a fine mesh laundry bag will help protect the sweatband during machine wash.
Taking good care of your sweatbands between uses keeps you playing worry-free and guarantees you can fully focus on the task at hand: stopping those pucks. These sweatbands are designed to absorb and hold on to everything you "throw" at them, therefore it's important to wash or at least give them a quick rinse after use.
ℹ️ How to hand-wash the sweatband?
Steps to effective washing by hand (preferably performed quickly after use):
Fill a small bowl (e.g. plastic basin) with warm water and add a small amount of detergent.
Swirl and knead the sweatband in the water.
Let the sweatband soak for 30–60 minutes.
Rinse thoroughly under the tap and hang to dry.
Please note
The sweatband comes with the softer (loop) side of hook-and-loop fastener on the back. Make sure you have the rougher side (hook) on your goalie mask. The hook side is not included with the sweatband.
